The Microsoft Surface RT will be launching in Malaysia today at Publika Shopping Gallery, Solaris Dutamas. The pricing of the tablet has been revealed ahead of the event at the Microsoft Surface Malaysian website. The stand-alone Microsoft Surface RT tablet with 32GB internal storage is priced at RM1549, while the 64GB variant is priced at RM1849.
The Surface RT measures 10.81 x 6.77 x 0.37 inch and weighs 1.5lbs. It boasts a 10.6″ Clear Type HD display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. The device also features 720p HD cameras for both front-facing and rear-facing, two microphones and a 31.5 watt-hours battery. It comes with two USB ports, microSDXC card slot, Headset jack, HD video out port and a cover port. Connectivity wise, it features bluetooth and wifi with no 3G or 4G option.
