Huawei has just hold its launch event for the Ascend Mate and Ascend G510 handsets in KL Hilton ballroom. Both are priced at RM 1,599 and RM 699 respectively.
The Ascend Mate sports a 6.1-inch HD screen, powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 + Intel XMM6260 chipset and comes with 2GB of RAM. It has a 8.0-megapixel AF rear-facing camera with HDR and 1.0-megapixel HD front-facing camera. The giant phone also features a 4050 mAh battery with Huawei’s patented QPC and ADRX smart power- saving technology, allowing for two days usage with a single charge. The Ascend G510 is a lower mid-range device, which boasts a 4.5-inch 850×450 IPS display, equipped with 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon S4 chipset together with 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal memory. Additionally, it comes with a 5-megapixels rear camera and 0.3-megapixels front camera. The device is powered by a 1750mAh battery.
