Feel lonely without having a girl friend? No worry, the Girlfriend Coat can give you a hug. 
A team of Japanese students at the University of Tsukuba have apparently invented the Riajyuu Coat, which is a jacket that hugs you and comes with a pair of headphones that whisper sweet nothings in your ears. According to the gaming blog Kotaku, riajyuu is slang for “someone who is pleased with their life outside the Internet”.
The jacket looks ordinary but comes with a belt that tightens around the waist, as though you were being hugged from behind. When you feel the squeeze, you’ll hear a sweet voice whispering in your ears.

“The concept of this device is for everyone to get the feeling of having a girlfriend,” said hardware engineer Hikaru Sigiura. Unfortunately, the coat is not available in stores and may never be because the researchers don’t seem to be interested in selling the coat so much as just having fun with the idea.
