Sony unveils the Alpha 7S II

Sony officially launched the the Alpha 7S II (α7S II).

Following Sony’s naming convention, the “S” model is one that specializes in low-light performance. As such, the new α7S II has a maximum ISO of 409,600! Apart from that, it’s capable of shooting 4K videos/movies in the XAVC S format. This is all thanks to a full frame, 12.2MP sensor.

Speaking of recording videos, the α7S II can record 120fps at 100Mbps, for a slow motion effect. Other notable features include a 5-axis image stabilization system and an autofocus module that has 169 AF points. Needless to say, the α7S II also comes with Wi-Fi and NFC for expanded functionalities.
