We have seen lots of retro-style cameras in the market in recent years, and now we can see a retro-style television. LG Electronics has launched a new HDTV device with retro design including their bigger physical wood-framed rotary dials and physical buttons. This LG 32LN630R has a nostalgic housing which packs the modern TV features inside.
The TV features a 1080p IPS display, which gives it a 178 degrees viewing angle, and the capability of plugging in your USB storage or your mobile (via MHL) to it for your media playback. It is no 4K, but still more than appropriate for a living room.
It’s now available in Korea for 840,000 won (about $750). However, the company did not announce the international availability of the device.
